Solid roots, contemporary vision

Mongardi was founded in Turin in the 1980s as a manufacturing company specialising in the production of gas lighters. In 1994, the company moved its operational headquarters to Buttigliera Alta, in the heart of the Susa Valley, a strategic and easily accessible location.

Since the very beginning, we have developed partnerships with local suppliers and businesses, building a production supply chain deeply rooted in Piedmont’s industrial network.

Our premises house our management, sales and administrative offices, our technical department dedicated to product design and development, and an organised warehouse.

The experience we have gained over the years and the expertise of our team guide us in designing and developing products for everyday life, with functionality, build quality and design at their core.

Functional design, essential aesthetics

We design practical solutions to organise and make the most of domestic spaces.

Our range includes cabinets, modular shelving and waste separation systems, as well as an innovative range of flat-pack products for laundry areas, designed for easy installation in the environments intended for each product.

Every product is designed to meet real needs through understated, functional and contemporary design.

Our products are Made in Italy, and our connection with Piedmont has always been an important part of our company identity.

We work with Italian suppliers and partners, drawing on skills and expertise developed over time within our industrial network.

Functionality, design and organised spaces

Materials, packaging and energy

When designing our products and managing our premises, we make specific choices regarding materials, packaging and energy.

We use different types of resins to manufacture our products, favouring the use of recycled resins wherever technically feasible. The materials we use are also selected with their recyclability in mind; specific material characteristics and the use of recycled resins, where applicable, are indicated on the individual product pages.

Our packaging is also selected based on its compatibility with established separate collection, sorting and recycling processes.

A photovoltaic system for electricity generation is installed on the roof of our premises.
